This week-long surfing experience is the only one of its kind in Canada . Each day is spent learning the fundamentals and techniques of surfing from beginner to expert, and all about our ocean environment (currents, wave formation, ocean safety, mammal life, etc). Inner Rhythm Surf Camps are developed to equally emphasize the journey of discovery and the thrill of achievement. Character development is an inherent part of the Inner Rhythm experience.
Through community living, quality leadership, and fun and engaging outdoor activities, Inner Rhythm Surf Camp offers truly unique growth experiences for today's youth.
All equipment is provided, including longboards, shortboards, wetsuits and booties, but students are welcome to bring their own boards and equipment if they desire. There are also many other fun activities programmed for our days between surfing sessions, including video analysis of you surfing!

TRANSPORTATION FOR TEEN CAMP
Campers already on Vancouver Island can be picked up at various locations in the Victoria and Nanaimo areas. Please contact the Tofino Bus directly to see which location best suits you.
FROM VANCOUVER AND OTHER MAINLAND AREAS
ARRIVING:
Campers coming from the mainland must catch the ferry at Horseshoe Bay ferry terminal. Campers must be on the 12:30pm ferry sailing in order to meet the Tofino Bus at the Departure Bay ferry terminal at 2:40pm. Campers will then board the Tofino Bus which will get them into Ucluelet at Inner Rhythm Surf Camp at 6pm.
DEPARTING:
Campers leaving on the Tofino Bus to head back to the ferries and the mainland , will be leaving Inner Rhythm Surf Camp at 11:15 am. This will get campers into Nanaimo Departure Bay ferry terminal at 2:30 pm and onto the 3 pm ferry sailing. The ferry arrives at Horseshoe Bay ferry terminal at 4:35 pm.
DRIVING:
Parents wishing to drop off and pick up their children can find a map at (have a link to google earth here). PLEASE PLAN YOUR ARRIVAL TIME FOR 7:30-8 pm on the Sunday evening and then your pick up at around 11:30 am on the following Saturday. These scheduled arrival and departure times are very important as they enable our group leaders to structure the first and last days of the session to be as beneficial as possible to each camper group.
